Future Adirondack Conservation Leaders

The Next Generation Council are people in their 20s and 30s who value the Adirondack Park as a place that welcomes and provides benefits for all. It’s an opportunity for young people representing a variety of professions who are interested in applying diverse skills and experiences to tangible land-protection action, and to shaping lasting and inclusive conservation.

In turn, the Adirondack Land Trust provides these rising conservation champions with leadership and networking opportunities.

The council, founded in 2021, helps the Adirondack Land Trust make new friends who love the Adirondacks, and to ensure that protected lands remain relevant for future generations.
