If you are a farmland owner in Essex County, NY, and the majority of your farm is located in an Agricultural District, and if you’ve ever utilized nyfarmnet.org, you are very likely eligible.
Funds will cover one-on-one consultation services with an expert you select in the following areas:
- Estate & Succession Planning
- Business Planning
- Family/Partner Mediation
- Farmland Preservation
- Tax Planning
- Legal Services
Private consultations with service providers are supported by a Farmland Access Outreach Grant through New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, administered by Adirondack Land Trust. The service provider you select will bill Adirondack Land Trust directly.
