What does it take to transform an overgrown plot into productive land? In this free virtual event on Wednesday, February 28, from 7 to 8 p.m. EST from the Adirondack Land Trust, Dr. Brett McLeod shares his endeavors to create a 25-acre woodland homestead in the rugged Adirondack Mountains. McLeod will share how a plan scratched into the mud became a small, diversified farm, using ecologically sound techniques to produce vegetables, lumber, fruit, and syrup along the way.
