The Adirondack Land Trust’s Summer Tour takes us across the Adirondacks to share conservation updates, listen, learn, and celebrate summer. Join us on at the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts in Blue Mountain Lake on Thursday, July 10, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for scenic views, a reception with complementary refreshments, and conservation updates.
Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m. At 5:45 p.m., Next Generation Council member Naishaly Vélez Galán will host a program highlighting land protection and stewardship projects. You’ll hear about our innovative partnerships in Hamilton County to preserve Griffin Gorge shoreline (above) and set the stage for future recreation and sustainable tourism opportunities. Plus, we’ll delve into the recently announced 2,800-acre conservation easement protecting lands and waters surrounding the Paul Smith’s College Visitor Interpretive Center.
This event is free to attend and all are welcome!
