Volunteer

How do we care for wildlands and host events that engage people with conservation?  Volunteers!  Our devoted volunteers do everything from clearing trails to stuffing envelopes and leading field trips.

Fieldwork 

Type of work:  Outdoor trail work and other land care at our nature preserves. 

Ideal for:  People who feel physically able to clear trails, climb hills and build things. 

Office work 

Type of work:  Preparing mailings, stuffing envelopes. 

Ideal for:  People who enjoy gathering with others at our Keene office to do their part for Adirondack conservation over coffee and baked goods. 

Educational Hike Leader 

Type of work:  Leading hikes with an educational component. 

Ideal for:  Good speakers with knowledge of plants, animals and natural history. 

Photographer/Videographer 

Type of work:  Providing visual media for marketing, fundraising and outreach. 

Ideal for:  People with skills in photography, videography and communications.
