Next Generation Council

Seeking Future Adirondack Conservation Leaders

The Adirondack Land Trust would like to hear from people in their 20s and 30s who value the Adirondack Park as a place that welcomes and provides benefits for all. The Next Generation Council is an opportunity for young professionals representing a variety of professions who are interested in applying diverse skills and experiences to tangible land-protection action, and to shaping meaningful and inclusive conservation.

In turn, the Adirondack Land Trust invests in NextGen Council members by providing leadership and networking opportunities for rising conservation advocates—and eventually we look forward to time together hiking, paddling and sharing ideas in real life.

We hope you’ll help ensure that the Adirondack Land Trust reflects the diverse communities who love the Adirondacks, and that our work remains relevant for future generations—the beneficiaries of efforts to conserve open space, care for nature, and connect people with protected landscapes.

The next recruiting cycle for prospective Next Gen members will start in January. If you’re interested in learning more and possibly applying, please click the button Fill out this Form
